How long have you been pullin down?
6 years.

Any info you want to share about yourself, your hobbies, your spouse, or significant other, what you do in the off-season, etc?
Hanging out with family and friends, being outdoors, hiking, yoga, and (salsa) dancing. I like to climb year-round. When summer comes, I usually switch from bouldering to routes.

Any pets?
My cat, Angel.

Any results or highlights you want to tell us about?
USCCA Big 8 Competition, 2003, 1st place. Teva Mountain Games Bouldering Competition 2003, 3rd place. Featured climber in Colorado Daydream, Once Around the Sun DVD (2004).

What's your best moment so far in climbing or bouldering?
There's not one particular moment that stands out among the rest. If I really had to choose one, it would be the year I did JCCA Nationals in Portland Oregon (2000). It was my first big competition, and I was scared to death. I've never been very competitve, and the idea of a huge crowd watching made me cringe. I wanted to be eliminated the first day just to get it over with. Somehow I kept qualifying to the next round and before I knew it, it was the last day of finals. The butterflies in my stomach had doubled, and that day I surprised myself and placed 4th. It was a relief when it was finally over, and I was happy that I didn't let my fears get the better of me. Even today, I still get nervous at competitions.

What drives you to climb or boulder?
Pushing my own limits. Just letting go and connecting with the rock.

What are your goals in climbing or bouldering?
To be an all-around consistent climber, from bouldering to ropes, from slabs to roofs.

Who has been an idol or a mentor for you in climbing or bouldering?
My brother, Sean, he's always there to help me in climbing and life.

What's your favorite type of climb or problem?
Slightly overhung with dynamic movement.

If you could be anywhere pullin down on rock right now, where would you be?
Hmmm…so many climbing areas. How 'bout Squamish, BC?

Any weaknesses?
Problems that involve body tension.

If you could be any super hero, who would you be?
Definitely Spiderman. It would be too much fun to swing and climb from building to building.
